About Me

I am Fahd Murtaza, a professional Web Developer with expertise in PHP and Open Source applications like WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, magento etc. I am also an aspiring photographer.

This website serves as my online portfolio for web development and photography. The blog sections contains the things I like to talk about. My subjects of Blogging are about technology news, photography, movies, art and music.

Since my main interests are promoting my skills through this website and get new work. I will write more about my skill as a software engineer specifically web programmer.

I have expertise with following  technologies and open source applications.

• PHP /MySQL with command over LAMP (LINUX Apache MySQL PHP)

I have developed huge Custom CMS systems in PHP with MySQL and SQL server support. These range from simple Personal sites CMS to CRMs for corporates.

• Drupal 5.0 to current version.

I have Drupal customization experience with Drigg. I have experience in both theme development and module development for Drupal. Please refer to my Portfolio section for details.

• ASP 3.0 Classic

I have over 4 years of experience developing websites in ASP classic. I have developed CMS, CRMs, Personal websites and business portfolios with huge  back office support. I have integrated ASP classic with MySQL, Access (for little sites) and SQL server.

• ASP .NET

I have recently started development with ASP.NET and my experience with ASP.NET is limited to just 8 months but I have come to know a great deal of ASP.NET with the superb tool like Microsoft Visual Studio 2008.  I have developed some scripts in ASP.NET for my personal use but I am confident about taking any ASP.NET assignment and finishing it successfuly.

• Desktop Application development in .NET

I have development CRM and accounting software for a number of clients in .NET platform using both C# and VB.NET. I have integrated .NET with SQL Server and MySQL backend.
