I am doing good now. Feeling well. Have been under a complete month of stress, illness. I think feeling good is the key to being good so I am under this thinking for some days and yeah it works. I am back to work and I couldn’t find something to blame so here you are Mr. President. Your website is so awful Mr. Zardari. I simply hate this site. If you want a better website (I hope you should have some good taste except Sarah Palin), I am ready to volunteer.

Yeah I am singing this song written by Ahmad Faraz, as he is no more in this world and this song really resembles the situation.

Ahmad Faraz is considered as one of the greatest modern Urdu poets of the present times. Born as Syed Ahmad Shah in 1934, he breathed his last at a hospital in Islamabad, Pakistan, last night (Monday, August 25, 2008). Earlier, he was being treated for kidney failure in a Chicago hospital. Ahmad Faraz has a tremendous following. His poetry is understood by common people as well. A revolutionary poet of wit, depth and grit alike, he was in exile during the martial law rule of General Zia-ul-Haq. Like Faiz Ahmad Faiz, some of his best poems are from those days. He wrote 13 books which were published as “Shehr e Sukhn aarasta hai”.

This picture is by famous Pakistani Photographer fayyaz Ahmed. I found this while surfing his work on Flickr. It reminded me of my childhood when my mom took us four ; yeah me and my bro and two sisters to Karchi for entertainment and to kill the Winter Holidays which are rather too old here in Mansehra.

I remember it was a car of my Uncle and we were going to Hawks bay and they found no place for me, I was in 4th standard that time so slim as I am am right now too! So I fit into the rear as this kid did. Though he/she ( I guess he is a male child) is sleeping quite well but I couldn’t due to tbad condition of the road!

Anyhow its potentially dangerous for a kid, and parents must take care and don’t play with child’s life like this. What do you think? Do comment!

Artist Gulgee, his wife murdered KARACHI: Renowned artist Ismail Gulgee, his wife Zarine along with their maid were found dead here at their residence on Wednesday.The initial investigations reveal that they were killed about two to three days ago.Ismail Gulgee was an award-winning, world famous Pakistani artist who was born in Peshawar on October 25, 1926. A qualified engineer from the U.S, he was a self-taught abstract and portrait painter.From about 1960, Guljee was noted as an abstract painter influenced by the tradition of Islamic calligraphy and by the American “action painting”. The first exhibition of his art-work was held in 1950. The legendary Ismail Gulgee was entirely self-taught, and was renowned as a portrait painter in his early career. One of his most famous early works was the portrait of Afghanistan’s Shah Zahir Shah painted in 1957. He also had the honour of making portraits of Prince Karim Agha Khan, former princess of Iran, Deeba and former president of Pakistan, Ayub Khan. Transcending simple canvas and paint formulae, Gulgee was known for using mixed materials in his art and was a sculptor of exceptional skill, a legacy that lives on in his son Amin Gulgee.
