I shot this butterfly while I was leaving the Radio Station after doing a program. This was shot with a Sony DSC-S700 so I had to be too close to it to take the snap. Took me quite time to wait for its stay at a flower as it was continuously roaming around!
A great macro shot capturing a real beauty. Somehow made me remember this poem by John Keats as he himself says “A thing of Beauty is a Joy Forever; its loveliness increases; it will never pass into nothingness”. So here goes the poem!
Ode to a Nightingale
“I cannot see what flowers are at my feet,
Nor what soft incense hangs upon the boughs,
But, in embalmèd darkness, guess each sweet
Wherewith the seasonable month endows
The grass, the thicket, and the fruit-tree wild;
White hawthorn, and the pastoral eglantine;
Fast-fading violets cover’d up in leaves;
And mid-May’s eldest child,
The coming musk-rose, full of dewy wine,
The murmurous haunt of flies on summer eves”
