PARTO COMPLICADO (09-08-07)

O trabalho de parto começou nessa quarta-feira (8), às 20h, mas só às 7h30 de hoje as patinhas do filhote apareceram.

A mãe, a girafa Yaza, tem 5 anos e saiu de Belo Horizonte (MG) para morar no Zoológico de Brasília. Seria o seu primeiro filhote.

Geralmente, o parto de uma girafinha demora cerca de cinco horas. Enquanto Yaza fazia força, os tratadores do zôo distraíam a girafa macho, o Léo.

De acordo com a assessoria de imprensa do zoológico, o parto de Yaza foi muito complicado e o bebê girafa acabou morrendo. A girafa mãe será submetida a uma cirurgia e também sofre risco de morte.

I was looking at my old photo Archives and I found this fascinating photo among these old photographs I have been taking while my trip to Lahore in December 2005. It was fun and I have lots of memories of that time.

The Badshahi Mosque (Urdu: ??????? ????), or the ‘Emperor’s Mosque‘, was built in 1673 by the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb in Lahore, Pakistan. It is one of the city’s best known landmarks, and a major tourist attraction epitomising the beauty and grandeur of the Mughal era.

Capable of accommodating over 55,000 worshipers, it is the second largest mosque in Pakistan, after the Faisal Mosque in Islamabad. The architecture and design of the Badshahi Masjid is closely related to the Jama Masjid in Delhi, India, which was built in 1648 by Aurangzeb’s father and predecessor, emperor Shah Jahan.

Badshahi Masjid is one of the locations where Qari’ Abdul Basit recited the Qur’an.^{[citation needed]} The Imam-e-Kaaba (Sheikh Abdur-Rahman Al-Sudais of Saudi Arabia) has also led prayers in this mosque in 2007.

Well I was going to I 9/1 from i 8/2 (my office) , to meet my brother Huzaifa when I observed a huge rush at the first Bridge over the 9th Avenue that links I 8 Service Road to I 9 service road. And I observed this accident. So seems like the driver was sleeping.
